In honor of International Women's Day, let's take a moment to celebrate the highest ranking female in MLB, Kim Ng! Kim began her career as an intern with the White Sox, then served full time as a special projects analyst before being promoted to Assistant Director of Baseball Operations.

In '98, she was recruited by Brian Cashman to work for the Yankees as assistant general manager, becoming the youngest in the major leagues, at age 29, and the second woman ever to hold the position! In 2011, she transitioned to senior vice president of baseball operations for MLB under Joe Torre.

In 2020 became the first woman to become a general manager of a men's team in the history of major North American sports, as well as the first female Asian-American and first East Asian-American general manager in MLB history! Kim's career path and success in a male-dominated industry is an inspiration not just to women but to everyone!

The plexi glass installation has started in the hitting lanes along with painting the hitting lanes, bathrooms, gaming suites, and the curved outfield wall!
