I'm clearly posting when hungry this week - so much food news in the area! 😆 Did you now that the The Wine'ing Butcher - Ashburn VA has expanded to be more than just a great meat, cheese & wine shop? In the past week or so they tweaked their hours, expanded their seating and widened the menu to include entrees and shareable plates for dining in. AND they dropped the cork fee so you can buy a bottle and enjoy it on the spot for no extra charge.

I've long had a soft spot for Old Ashburn. Looks like a great excuse to pop over soon!

We do gray corned beef. What's the difference? “Red” brisket is cured with nitrite, which gives the meat its signature color. “Gray” corned beef (consider the authentic New England variety) is not cured with nitrate, so the color forms naturally as it brines.
